#Superbloodmoon

Sunday, September 27, 2015

I normally don't post this late but look at these beautiful photographs I took a few minutes ago of the Blood Moon...

I was alone, kids were sleeping in bed (including Grams) and I spent the time outside sitting on the driveway taking these!!

What a beautiful thing to see! I'm glad I was able to see this, because where we live (Connecticut) we hardly see cool things like this due to cloud cover, snow, rain or all of the above!

She's two!!!

I wanted to upload a couple pictures of her super small, 5 person birthday party.  Her shirt was bought by her aunt, her tutu was bought at Once Upon a Child in Manchester, the princess decorations were bought at Party City and the cake was bought at Stop & Shop. Simple and easy birthday.

Next year as she remembers more, we'll make her a more elaborate party.

A Lil' Update

Tuesday, September 22, 2015

For the past month I've been picking up double shifts at work. I went from the measly 21 hours to about 65-80 hours a week. I've been working over nights from 8PM-8AM, while everyone is asleep, and I still take care of my daytime patients as well.

Don't ask me how I do it, I don't even know how I do it. Working over nights is the only way that I can get these hours done. I don't have to worry about Grams as I constantly check in on camera, and I don't have to worry about the kids as they are sleeping with their Dad.

Easy Peasy!

James and I have been looking at houses, we put an offer on one and we're waiting for word back. I'm waiting to see if I can start buying buckets of paint, and tiles, and all that fun stuff. I can't wait to renovate. I turn everything into a project.

Bean had her second birthday on 9/12. It was a particularly small party as they mostly have been for years. I personally love big parties, and having loads of family come in, but James keeps to himself, so I had to let that side of me go because parties seem to make him uncomfortable, even if its for the kids. Silly crazy me, needs to hibernate as much as I want to get down and do the cha cha slide with a bunch of 5 year olds, I have to put that in the past and act like a 60 year old.

Sprouts birthday is coming up. We're thinking about doing it at his karate studio. Invite a few kids and call it a day.

Grams has been doing okay. A lot of leg pain lately. We're not sure if its because of the weather changing, but we have a doctors appointment coming up to figure it out.

We adopted two birds, their names are Bit & Bob. They are loud cranky little things.

I'm taking two classes for Human Services. It's a certificate program and I'm thinking about a possible career change.

As crazy as it sounds I kinda want to get back into photography and design. I think I can somehow fit it into my schedule. I only do 4 overnights a week, and one of them are every other week. Other than that I have the day shifts which end early in the day. I want to make that dream come true. Making art with photography, video and design.

Eh, wishful thinking!

I think that's it for updates...

Have a goodnight everyone :)
